Reports indicate that original stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.
An Important Reunion for Fans
The actors will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Speculation suggests their cameos will take the form of a future-set scene, as the main film series concluded with their characters living in peace.

Sunrise on the Reaping is based upon a recent book by author Suzanne Collins. It will be the second film set before the original story after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. For this project is Francis Lawrence, who directed the majority of the previous films in the series.
