Assistance Efforts Considered Not Enough
Groups have increased distribution of tents, blankets and clothing following the halt in hostilities commenced, but they stress there is continues to be not enough aid reaching those in need.
"Officials are working relentlessly to bring in that aid and to hand it out, but the size of the necessities is so immense that we are faced with a great number of people and children who are truly enduring hardship every night," stated one representative.
Long-Term Concerns and Agreement Terms
The second phase of the agreement encompasses arrangements for the reconstruction of Gaza, along with political arrangements, the pullback of troops, and other provisions.
Aid groups have stressed the need for "greater and continuous aid to address urgent and long-term requirements."
The conflict was sparked by an attack in the autumn of 2023. Later military operations have resulted in a high number of lives lost in the territory, according to health ministry figures.
